INTRO 2009

I have been checking out the new spring/summer Runway Trends for 2009 and the most of these trends have a red thread = The 80´s. The 80´s Feeling is everywhere. It feels like a transparent heavy fog from the Miami Vice/Ice Cream Pastel Art Deco Colors to the style look of the 80`s Star Rock. I have been spotting 3 big Runway Trends: 1. the GLAMROCK, 2. the 70´s DISCOCHIC and then the Exotic urban mix as 3. the MODERN SAFARI in many editions such as the WESTERN meets the INDIAN or the modern version of being the Danish Writer Karen Blixten in Africa. But instead of Africa I´m in the City Urban!

I will introduce to you this season the CelebrityStyleGuide were I will show the global style stars own favorite pieces and personal style against, - can I find something similar style/look/shape in the HighStreet. I will take an extra look in to the HighStreet brand such as H&M, SELECTED FEMME and Zara etc. Were I will recommend and inspire to styles for less money. So everyone that wants to wear the latest trends as the celebrities wear can get inspire to the same style, look and shape for Less Money!

For example you can see the actress JLO alias Jennifer Lopez personal passion for oversize sunglasses that covers her face. You can also see her often carrying a stylish crocodile bag in different shapes of colors. Her favorite jean is Bootcut that perfect balance her curvy forms. JLO is also very fond of the colorful short and the long summer caftan tunic that you often spot in the summer areas as Cote A´zur, St.Tropez and Miami. I have to admit that she sometimes can over dress herself with to much accessories so you cant see her real personality. It’s sometimes too much stylish Bling Bling over her and too many different styles put together instead of the motto "Less is More". But perhaps these will change future wise after she had her twin birth, who knows...the Future will tell.
